1. Baker Pool
First on our list of cheap pools, this one is open for the summer season between June 1 – August 10. If you’re looking for a chill, recreational swim, come between Tuesday and Thursday 11AM – 3PM, or Sundays in between 2 -6PM. Here, you’ll find diving boards, a six-lane outdoor pool, 2 shaded party areas, picnic tables, and lockers. Baker Pool also offers swimming lessons, and it’s available for birthday parties or other events.
2. Municipal Pool
This year’s summer schedule is between May 25 and September 1. If you’d like to swim at this community pool, you can head there every day between Monday and Friday. Between 8 AM – 4 PM it’s open to all ages, 4 -7 PM adults only, and 7 – 9 PM all ages again. Saturday is open to all ages between 12 – 5 PM. Here, you can also enjoy swimming lessons, water exercise, semi-private diving classes, and swim coach training. You’ll find a 50-meter indoor pool, 3 diving board, picnic tables, a fitness room, a concession area, and more.
3. Doolittle Pool
This cheap pool has been open since June 2, and the season ends on August 9. For a recreation swim, head here on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, between 12 – 4 PM. If you wanna practice water exercise, these classes take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 10 AM. Doolittle Pool has an outdoor activity pool with zero-depth entrance, water slides, a diving board, and shaded areas. You can also take swimming lessons – private, semi-private or group ones. This place is also available for pool rentals.
4. Garside Pool
The pool runs between June 2 and August 9. You can swim freely on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 7 – 9 PM, so it’s perfect for the late birds. You can also go on Tuesdays between 2 – 4 PM, or Thursday and Saturday between 12- 4 PM. Garside it closed on Sundays. Discover their outdoor activity pool with zero-depth entrance, water slides, diving boards, their four-lane lap pool, and shaded party areas. You can enjoy swimming lessons, and for the youth, there’s water polo, artistic swimming, springboard diving, and more.
5. Martinez Hall Family Pool
This pool, also known as the Carlos L. Martinez & Darrio J. Hall Swimming Pool, is open between June 2 and August 10 this summer. You can visit on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 12 – 4 PM, and again between 6 – 9 PM. On Saturday, it’s open between 12 – 6 PM. Check out the outdoor activity pool with zero-depth entrance, 2 diving boards, the six-lane pool, water slide, shaded areas, picnic tables and more. There are group swimming lessons available, and spots teams for youth, like water polo, springboard diving, synchronized swimming and others.
6. Pavilion Center Pool
The last spot on our list of affordable, cheap pools is the Pavilion Center. Between June 2 and August 9, you can check out this pool for recreational swim, lap swim, or long course lap swim. Here, you’ll find a massive 14-late competitive pool, springboards, outdoor patios & pavilion, pool toys, and more.
