Adele Facetimed Fans Who Traveled To Vegas For Her Show And Offered Them Free Meet And Greets

“I have the best fans in the world! Your graciousness and love tonight is overwhelming!”

Adele FaceTimed with fans who traveled to Las Vegas to see her Weekends With Adele show at the Colosseum at Ceasars Palace. The singer had to postpone her show last minute because of delivery delays due to COVID.

Fans posted videos of their FaceTimes with Adele. Fans had gathered at the Colosseum, where the show was supposed to occur. As her fans chanted, “it’s ok,” the singer is seen crying. Adele eventually joined her fans in the chant, and they all sang a few of her songs.
Adele also reportedly offered fans meet and greets for the trouble of the rescheduled shows.

The singer was set to start her three-month residency on January 21. However, the singer posted a tearful 90-second video on her Instagram and Twitter earlier today explaining that the show could not go on as scheduled.

“Listen, I’m so sorry but my show ain’t ready.” Her Ceasar’s Palace residency was supposed to go on from January to April 2022. In her video, Adele apologized for the last-minute cancelation and explained how her team and she had been up for 30 hours searching for solutions. “We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and covid. Half my crew is down with covid …it’s been impossible to finish the show. I can’t give you what I have right now and I’m gutted…I’m sorry it’s so last minute..we’ve run out of time.”

However, the show will go on. The singer finished her video determined to find new dates and solutions. “We’re going to reschedule all of the dates, we want it right now. I’m going to finish my show, and I’m going to get it to where it’s supposed to be.”

The singer cemented her legendary status with her chart-topping fourth album titled 30 which was met with critical acclaim and as an enormous commercial success. The hype surrounding the album began with Adels’s cryptic and exciting marketing, with giant billboards with a simple 30 appearing out of nowhere. Then, when the album dropped, it only took three days for it to become the year’s biggest-selling album!

Adele will soon enough be in the fabulous company of stars with Vegas residencies under their belts, such as Celine Dion, Britney Spear, and Lady Gaga.
