A legendary artist
Alanis Morissette has been an icon for many growing up in the 90’s and early 00’s. At her concerts, people don’t just sing “and I’m here to remind you of the mess you made when you went away” – they feel it, they scream it, they live it. That’s just the Alanis effect.
Her songs were not just loved by millions, but recognized as true masterpieces. She holds the record for the most number ones on the weekly Billboard Alternative Songs chart among female soloists, group leaders, or duo members. Moreover, her first three internationally released albums topped the Billboard 200 albums chart! Alanis has won 7 Grammys, and 14 Juno Awards. And speaking of legendary…the Rolling Stone once called her the “queen of alt-rock angst”. That’s pretty cool.
