Take in the summer at Bellagio’s vibrant summer display!
What better way to celebrate the passing of the seasons than by visiting Bellagio’s Botanical Gardens? This Vegas tradition is a lovely outing that will transport you to a fantastical oasis. This year’s summer attraction is aptly named Jungle Dreams!
The vibrant display pays homage to the animal kingdom with 28 magnificent animal sculptures! There are also nearly 10,000 plants and flowers in this year’s display. “Reimagining the Conservatory for this new summer display was a dream come true for me. Working with the talented Bellagio horticulture team, we took a scene that is captivating, visual, and dramatic and brought it to life as only Bellagio can,” said designer Ed Libby. “New elements, including LED screens, along with tropical plants, foliage, and flowers from around the world provide a feast for the eyes to all who visit, transporting them to this very special space we created.”
The Bellagio’s Botanical Garden is a staple of Las Vegas. Each season, the team transforms the 14,000-square-foot Botanical Garden into a wonderland that showcases the spirit and beauty of each season. The four seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, are all uniquely displayed—along with a special edition for Lunar New Year. It takes a horticulture staff of 120 to maintain the Botanical Gardens! The team captures each season by selecting flowers that complement the trees, gazebos, bridges, and ponds and can add or remove water features to enhance the season’s unique mood.
Sustainability is fundamental to the design team, which is why they have committed to recycling the water, repurposing plant life and scenic props, and utilizing a green waste procedure. This separates plant material and soil matter before it’s transported to a local compost and eliminates 90% of landfill diversion!
You can also take a 3D tour of the majestic gardens here and plan your route through the heart of the Jungle at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden.
But this is something you need to experience in the flesh. All of our senses will be engaged as you walk through and hear the beautiful melodies of chirping birds and the crickets’ songs. The wind gently blows, and a grand lion triumphantly roars. “Jungle of Dreams” is on display through September 10, 2022.
