Spring is here and the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World is in full swing! From pool parties to music festivals and concerts, here are 7 of the most exciting things to do in Las Vegas this April.
1. Visit the Bellagio Spring Display ‘Tea and Tulips’
The Bellagio Conservatory’s spring display is on until May, so you have the entire month of April to enjoy what the Horticulture and Engineering team have come up with. April 2024’s theme is Tea and Tulips and this impressive display embodies the feeling of a whimsical tea party. This display has the perfect cozy vibes with huge, decorative tea pots that has running water pouring from their spouts, beautiful flowers, and even fairies. This would be the perfect season to also try out their Garden Table, a beautiful dining table gazebo right in the middle of the botanical garden.
2. See Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live
Did you know Mariah Carey is the best-selling female artist of all time with over 200 million records sold? She’ll be performing in Las Vegas for her new show, Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live at Dolby Live at Park MGM from April 12-13, 17, 19-20, 24, and 26-27. Get tickets on their website!
3. Rock on at Sick New World
Las Vegas Grounds is opening up for the second year in the row for the epic rock festival, Sick New World Fest. A talented lineup with artists like System of a Down, Loathe, Slipknot, Danny Elfman, Killing Joke, Alice in Chains and literally so many more will be performing on April 27th. If you haven’t already scored your tickets then they have limited ones available on their website.
4. Whataburger opened in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has gotten its first Whataburger so your excitement probably depends on how much of a die-hard Whataburger fan you are. The late-night burger joint is a staple for some, with items like patty melts, Dr. Pepper shakes, or the Sweet and Spicy Burger being raved about as top items. Fans will be happy to see the US staple spot while others you haven’t tried it can finally give it a go.
5. Tee up at Atomic Golf
Atomic Golf has arrived at Las Vegas on the North end of the Strip near the Strat. A huge space with more than 90, square feet of lounges with LED displays, golf areas, taprooms, and more. Atomic Golf is the latest in recent entertainment venues opening on the Strip, like the recent Play Playground immersive adults-only space that opened at the Luxor.
6. Take a hike in Nevada
Nevada has some of the most otherworldly looking hikes we know of. As an example, think about the hikes you can do at the Valley of Fire State Park, an alien-looking space with technicolor rock formations. The White Domes hike here is amazing and has you walking through a slot canyon. There’s even an old Hollywood film set that you can be discovered here too.
7. Get ready for pool party season
April is the beginning of pool party season here in Las Vegas and there are so many amazing and luxurious pools to party at. Stadium Swim at Circa shouldn’t be missed with its huge LED screen that’s 135 feet long by 40 feet high. The Golden Nugget has The Tank which is always filled with sharks and Caesars Palace has some of the most gorgeous pools that are as big as they are opulent.
