The C.D.C announced on Thursday´s May 13 press conference that fully vaccinated people would no longer need to wear masks and social distance in most indoor and outside spaces. Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, announced the new guidelines.
“Anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities large or small without wearing a mask or social distancing,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky said. “If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things that you have stopped doing because of the pandemic.”
It remains obligatory for everyone to wear masks in places required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, including local business and workplace guidance.
UPDATE: If you are fully vaccinated against #COVID19, you can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws, incl. local business and workplace guidance. More: https://t.co/FJMon7WlFO
