Otonums, the first AI-powered hotel, is set to open in Vegas this spring. The revolutionary concept will certainly offer an experience unlike any other: from lights and temperature set to your liking to robots bringing your coffee, this is about to be…different.
Otonomus, the first AI-powered hotel
What’s the goal? To be the leading tech-savvy luxury hotel.
It’s owned by Philippe Ziadé, an American-Lebanese entrepreneur, whose ideal is to create the perfect space for comfort and convenience. Otonomus is designed to bridge the gap between hotels and home-experiences like Airbnb. He says that hotels deliver consistency through their branding, while Airbnbs deliver uniqueness and the sense of a home…but lack consistency. This new AI-powered concept should offer it all.
Guests will go through a costumer journey: booking, onboarding, the stay, and offboarding. The idea is that every time you stay at the hotel, it learns more about you, offering an even better stay the next time.
When you book a room, you get a basic one, with a basic price, that’s rumored to be somewhere around $300. After that, you can add on: pool side, quiet, perfect for a couple, or for a business trip. You can easily set your perfect temperature, or adjust lighting preferences. The concierge services will also be tailored to you – and not brought by staff, but by a robot! As you can expect from an AI-powered hotel, people aren’t really key players here.
Otonums will offer 4 types of “residences”, a pool, a gym, business center, and many options to dine or have delicious drinks. Oh, and another thing: they’re dog friendly!
This AI-powered hotel is set to open in May 2025, right here in Vegas. Would you stay here?
