Calling all elder emo kids, pop-punk enthusiasts, and alternative music lovers: it’s time to break out the black eyeliner. A brand-new weekly event – named “cry. sing. repeat.” – is officially launching in Downtown Las Vegas. Expect the ultimate dose of early-2000s nostalgia right on Fremont East.
Weekly emo karaoke night coming to Vegas
Taking over Corduroy, this karaoke night invites you to take the stage and belt out your favorite sad anthems every Wednesday night at 9 PM, kicking off on July 22nd.
Whether your ultimate playlist features My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Taking Back Sunday, or hometown heroes Panic! At The Disco, this event is made for those who still know every single lyric to the songs that raised them.
It doesn’t matter if you want to be in the spotlight or just scream along from the crowd. The night is dedicated to celebrating the golden era of emo music.
Event details
The night will be hosted by none other than Michael Vampire, the frontman of the post-hardcore and metalcore band Vampires Everywhere!.
Best of all? This night won’t break the bank. The event features absolutely no cover charge and is completely free to sing. You can also expect drink specials, including $3 PBRs and $9 Boilermakers – in case you need a bit of liquid courage.
