Cafe Lola
Café Lola is a beautiful and elegant spot where you’ll find intricate and unique drinks. But what is even more remarkable is how most of their treats are filled with good-for-you ingredients. Such as their Blue Moon Superfood Latte (That’s right, a blue latte), which has a ton of antioxidants and is gluten-free and vegan. They also have more indulgent options, such as the incredibly aesthetic color-changing strawberry rose champagne cocktail topped with cotton candy! Or their Lavender Matcha Donut, which is also gluten-free and vegan. They have a Henderson location as well as one in Vegas.

The River Mountain Loop Trail
This 34-mile set of trails is a fabulous way to get some cardio while enjoying the wonderful outdoors! The trails link Henderson, Boulder City, the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and other areas of the Las Vegas Valley! If you like cycling, then the River Mountain Look trail is perfect for you since parts of the trail are paved. Other parts also have a secondary section for horseback riding. Henderson has three trailheads: The Equestrian Park Trailhead, the Mountain Lake Park Trailhead, and the Silverman Connector Access Point.
Clark County Museum
This lovely museum is dedicated to the local history of Clark County. Their collections include Native American artifacts, like the Paiutes, as well as objects surrounding local mining, gaming, cars, and more. Amongst their favorite items are an 1898 Dewy slot machine and a 1946 Plymouth Coupe. Plus, they have a particularly spooky, recreated ghost town.

The Lion Habitat Ranch
This lion habitat ranch is a haven for lions and other animals. The ranch was founded 26 years ago with the goal of educating the community while supporting The Conservation International in Kenya. The ranch simultaneously provides a sanctuary for its lions while also helping to protect African lions and their natural habitat. The ranch has about 50 lions, and visitors can see them. Many of the animals have been rescued from unhealthy living situations.

Big Horn Wild West Tours
Do you want an adventure in the wild west? Well, the Big Horn Wild West Tours offers tours to various cowboy-approved spots like the Joshua Tree Forest, the Grand Canyon, and the Mohave Desert. The size of the groups ranges from 2 to 6 people, so you know the tour will be very attentive. You will be picked up from your hotel and go on the tour in Hummer H2s. Their most popular option is the Grand Canyon Tour, and it lasts almost 10 hours! You’ll pass Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, and the Joshua Tree Forest on the way to the Grand Canyon!

Lake Las Vegas Resort
A day of peace and relaxation sure sounds heavenly. If that is something you had in mind, you should visit The Lake Las Vegas Resort. Las Vegas Distillery
The Las Vegas Distillery is the very first in the state! This family-run artisan distillery is a “grain to bottle” distillery. It produces several spirits, including bourbon, whiskey, gin, rum, vodka, and moonshine! On Monday through Saturday, they offer tours and tastings which last 50 minutes. On Sunday, they can also offer tours and tasting but only by appointment. The distillery is an excellent venue for celebrations, such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate meetings, and workshops.

Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve
This tranquil bird viewing preserve is home to gorgeous desert birds along with migratory birds during the season. The preserve is 140-acres large and home to many desert birds and a temporary home for numerous migratory birds. The paths around the preserve’s nine ponds make this ideal for bird-watching. We recommend you bring water, wear sunscreen, sturdy shoes, a hat, and bring a pair of binoculars. Oh, and even if Mary Poppins and the Bird Lady won’t approve, please NOT feed the birds.

The District at Green Valley Ranch
The District is a unique development that also has entertainment, office space along with great restaurants, shops, and hotels. They have a resort, spa, and casino, so there is definitely plenty to get up to. Their many delicious restaurants, ice cream shops, and more are great options to enjoy a beautiful day. There are many family-friendly events that take place in The District like the Outdoor Picture Show.

Pasta Shop
After an adventurous day of exploring Henderson, you would have worked up quite the appetite! The Pasta Shop is a lovely spot for dinner. They also have a charming art gallery for you the appreciate their fantastic art. This gourmet Italian restaurant is a bright and welcoming spot. The founder David Alenik was once a personal chef to the ultimate Vegas legend- Frank Sinatra!
