Some of these have a long history and have been around for over 100 years! Their cuisine ranges from Baja California to Tijuana to Michoacan. Here is our selection of the 10 best Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas.
1. Javier’s
This high-end restaurant inside Arias resort serves up delicous traditional Mexican cuisine! Javier’s is a lively, stylish restaurant with a business casual dress code. They are open daily from 11:30 am to 12:00 am. We highly recommend their Enchiladas de Camarones and outstanding margaritas!

2. Border Grill Mandalay Bay
Border Grill serves modern Mexican cuisine from Chef/Owners Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. They first opened in 1985 and have created delicous food featuring conscientiously sourced, seasonal fare. They have expanded and now host guests at the Mandalay Bay restaurant. We love their refreshing Baja Ceviche Tostada and Mexico City Torta!

3. Casa Don Juan
Casa Don Juan is a vibrant family-owned restaurant. You can get delicous breakfast, lunch, or dinner every day from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. You have to try their Tacos De Pescado and amazing tamales!

4. Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina
Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina is a local favorite recently recognized as a Traveler’s Choice location last year. This is a fantastic spot for lunch, brunch, and dinner! We particularly love their Shrimp Cocktail made up of
Shrimp, cucumber, avocados, & pico de Gallo, and an Acapulco sauce!

5. Lindo Michoacan
Lindo Michoacan serves up authentic regional food from Michoacan, Mexico. They have been a local favorite for the past 25 years and are open daily for lunch and dinner. You have to try their Camarones al Mojo de Ajo. The delicous Mexican Gulf Shrimp are pan-fried with fresh garlic, Guajillo pepper, lemon juice, wine, and olive oil and served with fresh corn or flour tortillas!

6. Cañonita
The chef of this Mexican restaurant is Daniel Marquez. He was born and raised in Mexico City before moving to California in the 90s. This spot is located along the Grand Canal in The Venetian. They have delicous dishes such as Santa Rosa Barbacoa and Cabo Ahi Tuna! It is a great spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner, and they have bottomless mimosas during their brunch service!

7. El Dorado Cantina
El Dorado Cantina is one of the newer restaurants on this list. Owner Darin Feinstein opened this spot in 2014 and has since been named one of The Best of Las Vegas. They use the freshest ingredients from local vendors. Their locations Restaurants are on The Strip and in Tivoli Village. Their Mole Enchiladas is a particular favorite of ours and features incredibly tender slow-cooked pulled chicken and an outstanding mole!

8. Hussong’s Mexican Cantina
Hussong’s Mexican Cantina is part of Vegas history since they have served customers for 125 years! According to them, their bartender Don Carlos Orozco invented the margarita in 1941. Hussong’s is a great spot for Baja Mexican cuisine for lunch and dinner. Oh, and don’t miss their Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita!

9. Tacos El Gordo
Tacos El Gordo has been an iconic institution serving delicous Mexican food for the last forty years. They have had locations throughout Vegas since 2010, and we simply love them! Their doors open at 10:00 am every day and serve authentic Tijuana tacos! You also have to try their famous Asada fries. YUM

Milpa is the perfect spot for those looking for a healthier lunch. They serve Mexican bowls, salads, and fresh stone-ground masa tacos. They are located Near Spring Valley. Their Avo & Chickpea Bowl is simply delicous and a hearty lunch that will fuel you for the rest of the day. They also have delicous tacos, all made with mand-made stone-ground tortillas.
