U2 has done an amazing job at captivating audiences at the Sphere since it’s opening and now, the legendary band are passing the torch to Phish, who recently announced their 2024 residency in Las Vegas.
With four dates in spring 2024, Phish’s iconic rock and country style songs will hit the futuristic stage at the Sphere. Their recent album Get More Down was released in 2022, but the group has been making music for the past 40 years.
Curiously, rock music has become less and less popular as the years go by, making way for Rap, Pop, and Reggaeton. While a musical act like Billie Eilish, Beyonce, or Bad Bunny could be an interesting direction, we’ve, so far, seen a return to classic rock as the choices for the Sphere.
Phish, whose 4-day residency will mark a beginning relationship with the venue. “From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas,” said Trey Anastasio, Phish guitarist and vocalist. “We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans.”
Tickets will be available on December 11th at 12pm EST for the dates of April 18, 19, 20, and 21, but the ticket request period is available now.
Each night will feature a different setlist from Phish’s 40-year discography with a different set of stunning accompanying visuals each night, making for a completely unique experience for Phish fans.
