Whether you’re in search of a seriously big pumpkin for your next soup, want to stuff it with killer mac ‘n’ cheese, or need a large, orange canvas on which to carve a frightening face, Las Vegas is home to some pretty impressive pumpkin patches. As well as attending something festive like a sinister cocktail experience or rummaging through costume stores, spend a family day out at the likes of Gilcrease Orchard or Moapa Valley Corn Maze this October.
1. Gilcrease Orchard
This “pick and pay” orchard is a non-profit foundation offering the local community the opportunity to pick fresh food off a tree or vine and educates people on where their food comes from. And during the fall harvest (ending October 31st), Gilcrease Orchard provides a festive experience for visitors including hay wagon rides, a corn maze, fun selfie stations, and live music. You can purchase the perfect pumpkin for $.75 cents a pound. Book your ticket and look forward to apple cider, apple cider donuts, and more.
