RetroEscapes, a new theme park set to open in Vegas, will transport nostalgic guests into rides and lands inspired by the American culture of the 1950s – 1990s. Guests can explore areas and immersive experiences that take them back in time in a heartbeat. This will be the first ‘nostalgia park’ in the world, defining Sin City once again as the city of entertainment. The city is seeing more and more such attractions, like Universal Horror Unleashed, which opened earlier this year.
What we know about RetroEscapes

The park will have both indoor and outdoor spaces. Here, you’ll find rides (yes, finally!), restaurants, and of course, shows. It’s Vegas, after all! At the entrance, you’ll step through a time-travel portal to access themed lands based on American pop culture of different decades, from the ’50s to the ’90s, plus a ‘Tomorrow Zone’ where past meets future.
So far, all we have is concept art – enough to give us an idea of the vision, though for now, it’s just that: a concept. Images include an ‘80s style arcade Game Bar, a ‘90s era skate park, and a ’70s disco. They also feature a Monroe cocktail bar and a ‘50s diner.
The center of the park will feature the Fountain of Youth, a venue for nighttime spectaculars.
Who’s behind the project?
The park is being developed by Daniel-Leo Jr., a Las Vegas influencer, and his father, Daniel-Leo Sr. They announced the project on September 30, 2025, via social media.
When will RetroEscapes open?

As of now, the park is in the early development stage, with no construction commenced or opening date announced. They say: “We’re currently in talks on the land and figuring out the best fit.”
Of course, that means that many more stars need to align before we can say for sure that RetroEscapes is happening. But we absolutely see it and love the concept. A blast from the past is a wonderful throwback to some, and to others, an opportunity to discover an era they know nothing about. Win-win!
