Is your 2026 goal to open a business, follow your dream, or just finally put into practice that idea you’ve had for ages? Great timing! On January 9, 2026, Shark Tank is hosting an open call right here in Vegas. You get 1 minute to wow the team, exactly as seen on TV. Got that elevator pitch ready to go? Let’s get it!
Shark Tank Open Call coming to Vegas

Shark Tank is coming to Las Vegas during CES 2026, the Consumer Electronics Show – but you won’t need a badge for this event. It takes place at The Venetian (level 1, room 101). Wristbands are gonna be distributed from 9 AM. Keep in mind that you can’t line-up before 8 AM, so no need to show up at sunrise. Interviews begin at 10 AM, and sometimes go well into the evening, so pack a bag of patience.
What to expect
If you’d like to take part in this exciting project, you’ll need to have a completed Short Application, which you can find here. Read it carefully and fill it in before you head there.
As for the process…it’s pretty much what you see on the show. Make sure you sum up what you’ve got in a 1-minute pitch that’s clear, concise, unique, and – most of all – convincing. You’ll get to speak to one member of the casting team. Of course, that’s no easy task. But if you’ve always dreamed of a chance to bring your big idea to life, this could be it.
It’s worth noting that the event is pretty special: the Shark Tank casting team will host just 3 open calls nationwide in 2026! Southern California and Philadelphia will follow, with dates and full details to be announced soon.
About Shark Tank
Shark Tank is an American business reality television series that premiered in 2009. It’s basically the United States franchise of the international Dragons’ Den format. The show features a panel of wealthy investors, known as Sharks, who listen to business presentations and pitches from aspiring entrepreneurs. If convincing enough, participants may just secure capital for their companies or products. During these high-pressure sessions, entrepreneurs often request a specific amount of funding in exchange for a percentage of equity. The Sharks (prominent business moguls like Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, and Lori Greiner) invest their own personal money and provide mentorship if they believe a concept is viable and profitable. On TV, you’ll see many deals made with a handshake. However, these agreements are preliminary and undergo a rigorous due diligence process after filming.
