Who doesn’t love St. Patrick’s? Craft beer, dressing up, great food, parades, music, dancing…it’s definitely a party! Every year, Sin City hosts a couple of events on this fun day. Check out a festival, or just have a pint – maybe more – of Guinness in a cozy Irish bar. Without further ado, here are our favorite things to do on St. Patrick’s Day in Vegas:
1. Celtic Feis by New York-New York
The festivities kick off on Saturday, March 15 on the Brooklyn Bridge. There’ll be an annual parade, live classic Irish music, special drinks and tasty food like corned beef cabbage spring rolls. Tickets start at $22.
2. Grab a Guinness at an Irish pub this St. Patrick’s Day in Vegas
Can’t spend St.Patrick’s Day without a proper pint! Our city has many iconic Irish bars, so choose the one in your neighborhood, or head to the classics. We love how beautiful Nine Fine Irishmen bar is, and we love the authenticity of Ri Ra Irish Pub inside the Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Prepare for a crowd, though! Irish bars on this day tend to attract one.
3. Shamrock Bash
If you’d rather bar hop, head down to Fremont and enjoy the free party on the streets while you work your way though the Irish bars. You can expect drink specials, Celtic dancers, a flash mob, a firefighters parade, and live bands – it’s one hell of a party!
4. The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival
If you’re looking for a children friendly event, at Water Street Plaza in Henderson there’s a 3 day festival that’s fun for the whole family. You can find carnival rides, live entertainment, classic cars, food vendors and more. On Saturday at 10 AM, make sure not to miss the annual parade!
5. Shenanigans at Ahern
Beer pong on a Monday, anyone? This St. Patrick’s Day in Vegas you can absolutely do it at this event, which also features beer and whiskey specials, live music, and…cornhole! Best part? Free admission.
Ready to party? Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Vegas.
