Easter is almost here! If you’re spending the holiday with loved ones and need to grab some last-minute brunch supplies (or an extra bottle of bubbly), here is your guide to what stores are open or closed on Easter Sunday in Las Vegas.
On the Strip, tourist areas & malls
Casino and resort shops: If you’re shopping on the Strip or inside the major resort complexes (like The Forum Shops at Caesars, the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, or the Miracle Mile Shops), these will almost universally be open with regular hours.
Major malls: Large malls like the Fashion Show Mall, generally remain open, though it’s always a good idea to check their specific holiday hours.
Grocery and convenience stores

Open: Most local supermarkets will be open so you can grab last-minute essentials! Chains like Smith’s (Kroger), Vons, Albertsons, and Walmart will be open, typically with regular hours.
Open with reduced hours: Stores like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods usually open their doors but may close earlier than normal.
Convenience: Pharmacies and convenience stores like CVS and Walgreens will be open.
Liquor stores: They operate on their usual Sunday schedules.
Big box retailers and department stores
If you need to do everyday shopping off the Strip, this is where you’ll see the most closures. Many national chains observe Easter Sunday and close all their locations.
Closed on Easter: Target, Costco, Sam’s Club, Macy’s, Best Buy, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Lowe’s, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels.
Open on Easter: Walmart, The Home Depot (usually with reduced hours) and IKEA.
Happy Easter, Las Vegas!
