This marks the second time in a 5-year span that Vegas will host the nation’s premier sporting event. The city made its highly successful Super Bowl debut in February 2024 – which was a massive event that drew more than 330,000 visitors and generated an estimated $1 billion in economic impact!

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell praised the city’s unmatched scale, energy, and hospitality. He noted that the 2024 game proved Vegas is built for global events. Raiders owner Mark Davis echoed the sentiment, promising that after setting a high bar during the first time around, the city is committed to raising it even further in 2029.
With this announcement, Las Vegas continues to cement its rapid transformation into an undeniable global sports mecca. In 2029, the Super Bowl is expected to exceed the $1 billion economic footprint of the 2024 game.
