What is the College Football Playoff?
The College Football Playoff is how the national champion in college football is decided. At the end of the season, a group called the CFP Selection Committee ranks the top 25 teams. From these, 12 teams are chosen to compete in the playoffs: the five best conference champions and the next seven highest-ranked teams.
When and where will the event take place?
Las Vegas will host the College Football Playoff National Championship at Allegiant Stadium on January 25, 2027.
Until then, Atlanta will host the event in 2025, and South Florida in 2026.
