The Golden Knight’s coach, Peter DeBoer, made a decision that paid off big time. He decided to sit the 36-year-old Marc-Andre Fleury and have Lehner step in. Lehner played exceptionally last night and stopped 27 of the 28 shots by Montreal this Sunday. Coach Peter DeBoer explained that his decision to sit Fleury was because of his recent workload, suggesting the 36-year-old was fatigued.
Thanks for all the nice words today guys❤️ Appreciate all the love 😂

Lehner stated that he showed up to the arena four hours before the game on Sunday and read many negative comments on Twitter about him playing while Fleury did not. “It’s a great motivation for me.”
“It was enjoyable on Twitter today, and thank you guys very much for giving me that motivation,” he told reporters.
Game 5 will be tomorrow, Tuesday, June 22nd at 6:00 pm PT against Montreal.
