Whether you’re an elite Yelp reviewer or someone who occasionally browses the site, there’s no question that Yelp is the go-to spot when you’re looking for a meal out in the city. It seems an especially useful tool when dealing with a city like Las Vegas that has one of the highest restaurant establishments per capita in the nation, with 666 restaurants per 100,000 residents.
Yelp has just released their ‘Top 100 Restaurants’ list for the US. 6 Nevada restaurants have made it to the list, and it might be a fun idea to try and make it to all of them.
The three restaurants that made the list for Vegas include Milpa, a Mexican restaurant that does breakfast, tamales, and tacos. Think dishes like Birria Chilaquiles, Romaine and Jicama Salads, and orders of a dozen tamales that you have to order 48 hours in advance (though it’s worth the wait).
Zenaida’s Cafe is the second to join the list, serving American cuisine with a fine dining twist, such as classic breakfast dishes like pancakes and country fried steak to hearty lunch sandwiches like philly cheese steaks.
Finally, Shigatonin, a mind-blowingly good Japanese spot serving Izayaka, so uni pasta, fresh sashimi, and more in various boxes and platters.
A couple of Reno spots made it onto the list if you’re ever venturing out there. R Town Pizza is a great little spot that does deep dish pizza in rectangles “four corners” or “eight corners,” which is double the size. The venue is small but lively and definitely a great and tasty casual spot.
Korean and cocktail bar, Arario Midtown also made the list and their drinks and food are both just as good. From bulgogi to fried chicken wings, add this to your Reno list if you like Korean food.
The final restaurant that made the list is Reno spot, La Condesa Eatery, that does global cuisine and bar food like baos, tacos, and all accompanied by craft cocktails. A great and buzzy spot that the locals love.
