This eagerly anticipated event brings an evening of festive fun, dazzling displays, and community spirit – all on the water.
A festive afternoon
The celebration begins well before the sun goes down. From 3 PM to 6 PM, gather at Lake Mead Marina to soak in the holiday cheer. You can enjoy the nostalgic sounds of Christmas carolers singing on the patio and take the opportunity to visit with Santa Claus before the main event begins.
The main event – the Parade Of Lights
As evening falls, the water will come alive with the Parade of Lights. Enjoy the beautifully decorated boats, which will launch from the Special Events Beach. After, they cruise past the exterior docks at Las Vegas Boat Harbor.
For the best viewing experience, head to Boulder Beach at Lake Mead. Simply follow the event signs to find the perfect spot to set up chairs and blankets. You’re also invited to be a part of the action by voting for your favorite display. Voting opens at 5 PM on the day of the event and can be accessed by following the marina on social media.

Boaters: this is the perfect opportunity to show off your creativity and holiday spirit. Captains are invited to deck out their vessels and join the lineup for a chance to win big. The competition features a $500 cash prize for “Best in Show”, and trophies awarded in different categories.
