From huge music events to beer and foodie fests, Sin City hosts some of the greatest parties in the U.S. Below, we list our favorite 11 festivals in Vegas that you simply cannot miss (in chronological order).
1. Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas

We couldn’t start this list with any other, but one of the biggest festivals in the world. Electric Daisy Carnival, an iconic event that welcomes around 500,000 people each year, takes place May 16 to 18, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and it’s about to be legendary. The 2025 edition features the theme kineticMETROPOLIS, so the venue will transform into a futuristic cityscape. Besides great entertainment and a line-up that won’t quit, you can expect immersive visuals, carnival rides, art installations, silent parties, karaoke rooms…and even a wedding chapel! 2. Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival
Rock fans, mark your calendars! From May 24–26, the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center will host a three-day outdoor festival packed with energy. With two stages and more than 30 bands, the lineup includes Power Trip, The Adicts, The Interrupters, Frank Turner, The Damned, Amigo the Devil, and many others. Single-day tickets are priced at $135, while a full three-day pass goes for $300. Beyond the main event, the festival also includes late-night club shows and daytime pool parties across Downtown.
3. Las Vegas Indoor Summer Beer Festival
Beer lovers, this is your go-to. For the 2nd year, the Indoor Summer Beer Festival returns to the Ahern Hotel on July 26. Escape the heat while you enjoy the ultimate celebration of great brews. Sip on the greatest creations from local breweries such as Beer Zombies, HUDL Brewing Company, Craft Haus, and many more. Local vendors will provide great food too, such as Joel’s Chophouse and Ottimo’s pizza slices. For $39 you can enjoy all-you-can-drink beer, and the VIP Experience – priced at $74 – includes all you-can-eat-food on top.
4. Las Vegas Songwriters Festival
The Las Vegas Songwriters Festival is coming to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from August 21 to 24, 2025. Presented by MGM Resorts, this event brings together more than 50 chart-topping songwriters for over 100 live performances across four days. You’ll also get a rare chance to hear the stories behind the hits through exclusive Q&A sessions.
5. UNITY at Sphere

We have a new kid in town! Between August 29-31, at Sphere, two beloved giants in the EDM festivals industry – Insomniac and Tomorrowland – join forces and bring UNITY. This promises to be a groundbreaking audiovisual spectacle! Expect iconic anthems reimagined with cinematic flair, plus surprise sets from guest DJs. 6. iHeartRadio Music Festival
Between September 19-20, the iHeartRadio Fest returns to Vegas for its 15th edition. This event features today’s biggest names, across many genres. As usual, it will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. Home to artists from McCartney to Mary J. Blige, Drake to Deadmau5 and Timberlake to Taylor, this event is one of the biggest multi-genre music festivals anywhere. This year, you can catch Ed Sheeran, Brian Adams, Justice, Lil’ Wayne, Maroon 5, The Offspring, and more amazing artists.
7. Las Vegas Book Festival

More of a bookworm? This one’s for you! Nevada’s largest literary event is also one of the most awaited festivals in Vegas, celebrating the written, spoken, and illustrated word. For over 20 years, it drew thousands of attendees of all ages for a day of free events. Expect author readings, panel discussions, workshops, book signings, and a bustling book bazaar. This year’s headlines include John Waters (Pink Flamingos, Hairspray), Nicola Yoon (Instructions for Dancing), and Tracy Wolff (the Crave series). The event will take place on October 18.
8. When We Were Young
On October 18-19, 2025, we all get to prove our moms that it wasn’t just a phase. For its 5th editions, When We Were Young brings 2 days of pure nostalgia, featuring artists like Panic At The Disco, Blink 182, Avril Lavigne, Weezer, Simple Plan The Offspring, and many more. Tickets start at $425, which makes this one of the pricier festivals in Vegas, but what’s not a worth a good throwback?!
9. When We Were Young sideshows
The fun doesn’t end at When We Were Young! The sideshows have just been announced, and they feature names like Taking Back Sunday, Ice Nine Kills, The Cab, The Story So Far, and many more. These take place at different venues in Vegas, such as AREA15 or Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, between October 17 and 19. Tickets are sold per show / event.
10. RISE

The RISE Festival is a unique desert event that combines music, art, and a massive lantern release to promote reflection and unity. Celebrating its 10th anniversary from October 3–5, 2025, the festival features RÜFÜS DU SOL, Calvin Harris, John Mayer, Goose, LP Giobbi, Elderbrook, and Oliver Heldens. Y0u can take part in a moving ceremony using biodegradable lanterns, with the event emphasizing sustainability and shared experience under the night sky. This truly is one of the most unique festivals in Vegas!
11. Neon City Festival

Last but not least of the 2025 festivals in Vegas is Neon. This year’s lineup is out, and it’s loaded with music from all genres. It’s got something for everyone, from fan favorites to local artists – such as Good Charlotte, De La Soul, Deadmau5, Breaking Benjamin, Bowling for Soup, Two Friends, and many more. All this energy comes to the heart of Downtown Las Vegas on November 21-23, and it’s all for free.
