Sin City is getting a new resort on December 13th, adding to its already exciting roster of new happenings this year. The Fontainebleau Mega Resort and Casino has landed on the strip, with a grand opening just a couple of weeks away. Here’s everything we know about the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
The Fontainebleau has been around for 70 years, and Vegas is their new installment with a 150,000 square-foot casino, fine dining, and more than 3,600 upscale rooms. Fontainebleau is definitely on the elegant side with a modern and sleek vibe, but rooms start at $150/night, but prices can and probably will go up, especially with the holidays and the Super Bowl Las Vegas around the corner.
Those unfamiliar with the legacy of the Fontainebleau might be surprised to know how many iconic films it was featured in. The first of the brand is in Miami, and this hotel was the setting for movies like the James Bond movie Goldfinger, Scarface, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and scenes from the hit TV show, the Sopranos.
The hotel will be towards the North of the Strip, an area that continues to expand. There are several signature restaurants inside the resort: The Hollywood concept, Mother Wolf, Cantina ContraMar, Kyu Las Vegas, Ito, Chyna Club, Komodo, Papi Steak, Don’s Prime, and La Fontaine, all gorgeous and stunning as only Las Vegas can do. The hotel also stands at 67 stories tall, making it the tallest resort in Nevada and has over 3,600 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you a glimpse at the view from above.
As far as relaxing ammenities goes, there’s six-acre of outdoor pool and the popular Miami Lapis Spa, at 55,000 square feet, has made it to the Vegas resort, with luxury suites, salt caves, hydrotherapy, Peloton bikes, and more.
This NYE’s they’ll be kicking off their debut in Las Vegas with a two-night concert by Post Malone, who needs no introduction.
