Looking to spice up your lunch hour this fall? A pumpkin spice latte isn’t the only way to do it. The City of Las Vegas has announced a new initiative designed to bring community, cuisine, and live music to the heart of downtown. And here’s our favorite part – it’s free!
Free lunchtime concerts in Vegas
This fall, the Las Vegas Civic Center outdoor plaza is transforming into a cool midday retreat with Food Truck Thursdays. Taking place on select Thursdays, the event invites you to step away from your desk for a bit, and enjoy a refreshing break under the autumn sun.
From 11 AM to 1 PM, food trucks will line Goodman Way, offering plenty of tasty grab-and-go lunch choices. At noon, the outdoor plaza will come alive with a free concert featuring local performers. To make the experience even better, every concert date will also coincide with a local farmers market, running from 11 AM to 2 PM. It’s an all-in-one community event!
It will all happen at 525 S. Main St., so there’s convenient parking right across the street at the 500 S. Main St. garage. Bring blankets and low-back chairs to lounge on the plaza lawn, and keep in mind that pets and glass containers are not permitted.
