
The days may be hard to deal with during the summer months, but thankfully, Vegas truly shines after sunset. All the lights, the shows, the entertainment…even some of the museums shine brighter at night. Here are our favorite things to do in Sin City once the moon comes up.
1. Neon Museum
The Neon Museum illuminates the cultural essence of Las Vegas by sharing iconic signage, diverse collections, and stories that define its vibrant past, present, and future. You can visit the Neon Museum any time, but for obvious reasons…it’s just better at night. The lights shine brighter and the atmosphere is cooler. Plus, it’s an outdoor museum, so a summer visit is almost guaranteed to take place after sunset. All the rescued signs displayed in the Museum’s outdoor exhibition area – The Neon Boneyard – are curated deliberately so that through guided tours provided by the museum, you can enjoy the artistry of the signs while discovering the history behind them.
2. Bellagio fountains
A classic show in Vegas, that is just so pretty after sunset. It doesn’t matter how often you’ve passed by, it’s one of those things that won’t stop impressing you. And the music changes! Over a thousand fountains dance in perfect harmony to a curated selection of music, including timeless classics by Andrea Bocelli, Elvis Presley, Bruno Mars, and Lady Gaga.
3. Party at the Carnaval Court after sunset in Vegas
There’s always a party in Vegas, but if you’re looking for a more casual, local dance under the stars…this may be the place for you! This lively bar offers a casual outdoor nightlife experience on the Strip. There’s live music in a fun party atmosphere, with plenty of drinks flowing.
4. See Sin City shine from the High Roller Observation Wheel

5. Fremont Street Experience comes alive after sunset in Vegas
Fremont may just be where Vegas shines the brightest. Nightly free entertainment, where people gather and enjoy the classic Sin City vibes. During summer, don’t miss Downtown Rocks, a series of free concerts featuring brilliant artists like Robin Thicke, Gym Class Heroes and many more.
6. Cool down at a historic bar
You know what a really beats the heat? A crafted cocktail, under full-blasting AC. Vegas may have rooftops and glitz and glam, but it also has historic bars that serve vintage decor with great vibes. From The Bootlegger to Bar Prohibition and everything in between, here are our favorite ones.
7. Dive-in movies
Wanna go check out a movie after sunset? Sounds great – there are so many great cinemas in the city. But during summer, there’s one that beats them all: Dive In at The Cosmopolitan. On Monday nights, Boulevard Pool becomes your rooftop cinema in the sky, set against the lights of the Strip. Dive in or stretch out poolside, while you sip on handcrafted, movie-inspired cocktails. 8. Explore the Downtown Arts District & Area15 after sunset
This spot truly comes alive at night, offering endless entertainment and activities. From dance parties and karaoke nights to raves and live concerts, there’s always something happening. You’ll also find immersive experiences, arcades, and interactive spaces that you can easily get lost in for hours.
