As the summer heat mellows into the crisp breeze of fall, Vegas residents know where to head: Gilcrease Orchard’s annual Fall Harvest! Running from September 26 through October 31, this beloved local tradition transforms the desert into a true wonderland. The orchard opens its gates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 AM to 2 PM. It’s the perfect escape for families to enjoy the magic of the season.
What to expect from the Fall Harvest at Gilcrease Orchard

The Fall Harvest is packed with classic farm-fun. Explore a winding corn maze, take a scenic wagon ride through the fields, or visit the chicken coop and desert tortoise habitat. Of course, the star of the show is the pumpkin patch. You can even bring your own shears to cut the perfect pumpkin directly off the vine. Afterward, you can relax in the shaded concession area with live music. Don’t miss their famous apple cider and fresh apple cider donuts. Does it get better than this?!
On weekends, you can also check out the Spellbound Spectacular Show – an interactive, musical performance near the concessions seating area. Showtimes are 8:30 AM, 9:45 AM, 11 AM and 12:15 PM.
Remember that advance online tickets are required for entry!
About the orchard

Gilcrease Orchard is the realization of a lifelong dream shared by brothers Ted and Bill Gilcrease. Wanting to share a glimpse of their agricultural upbringing with modern families, they set out to preserve a unique gem where people could pick food fresh off the tree or vine. Originally a 1,500-acre ranch producing alfalfa and poultry, the site was transitioned into a 60-acre “pick and pay” sanctuary. Ted officially established the non-profit Gilcrease Orchard Foundation in 1997, ensuring their legacy of agricultural education would continue to thrive for generations to come.
