Vegas has long been a global destination for EDM, hosting just about everything from mega residencies to the massive EDC. Now, the city’s EDM credentials may be getting an even bigger boost. The world-renowned Belgian music festival, Tomorrowland, just teased that Sin City may be joining its international roster in 2027.
Is Tomorrowland coming to Vegas?
The rumor started at the flagship festival in Boom, Belgium. Attendees spotted a banner near the entrance to the Dreamville camping area saying “Tomorrowland Uniting the World in 2027.” Below the slogan was a list of 6 locations: France, Las Vegas, Brazil, Ibiza, Belgium, and Thailand.
If the banner’s list is chronological, a Vegas iteration would likely occur in the spring of 2027, squeezed between the winter edition in France (typically late March) and Tomorrowland Brasil (usually early May).
However, the festival hasn’t officially confirmed dates or ticketing information. From 2013 to 2015, the brand hosted its sister festival – TomorrowWorld – in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. More recently, Tomorrowland partnered with Insomniac to bring its CORE stage concept to L.A. and hosted a residency at the Sphere.
An epic festival for EDM lovers
Tomorrowland is widely considered the holy grail of EDM festivals. Founded in 2005 in Belgium, the festival has grown from a 1-day event into a multi-weekend adventure that attracts over 400,000 people from across the globe. Known for its fairytale-themed stages and lineups featuring the biggest names in the industry, this is more than just a concert – it’s a global cultural phenomenon.
