Great news for Broadway fans: new (and very beloved) musicals are officially making their way to the Strip! The Venetian recently announced that they’re bringing two award-winning Broadway hits – Mrs. Doubtfire and The Book of Mormon – to The Venetian Theatre for some exclusive, limited-run engagements. They’re expected to run in July and November 2026.
Both shows promise to give audiences an intimate, but absolutely spectacular, Broadway vibe right in the middle of Vegas.
Mrs. Doubtfire and The Book of Mormon are coming to Vegas
Patrick Nichols, the President and CEO of The Venetian Resort, is pretty excited about the news. He shared, “Bringing Broadway to the Las Vegas Strip is incredibly exciting for us, and these productions represent the caliber of entertainment our guests expect from The Venetian Resort. ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ and ‘The Book of Mormon’ are iconic shows that have captivated audiences around the world and presenting them in The Venetian Theatre is a powerful example of how we continue to redefine what world-class entertainment looks like in Las Vegas.”
When to catch the Broadway musicals
First up in the state-of-the-art Venetian Theatre is the hilarious and heartwarming Tony Award-nominated musical, Mrs. Doubtfire. Starting on July 22, the stage adaptation of the classic film will tell the story of an out-of-work actor who goes to hilarious lengths just to stay close to his kids. You can expect tons of quick-change magic and huge laughs.
