Is everyone else as excited as we are? We’ll assume so! Taylor Swift is heading back to our screens this October, but not with a typical film. The artist is throwing a giant ‘release party’ instead, called Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl. As die-hard fans know, times and dates are never a coincidence with Taylor – the ‘party’ kicks off on October 3, the same day her brand-new album The Life of a Showgirl drops.
What to expect from Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl
Imagine a super-sized version of her legendary secret sessions. The most exciting part of the show is the debut of the first music video from the album, for The Fate of Ophelia. Besides, fans will enjoy plenty of behind-the-scenes footage, lyrics video for the new songs, and personal commentary from Taylor on the stories behind the tracks.
Tickets and show times

The event will play in theaters across the U.S. all weekend long, between October 3–5, with AMC Theatres hosting at all 540 of its locations. Many others theaters, like Regal, will join in. Can you guess what time it kicks off? 3 PM, of course. Keep in mind there’ll be no trailers or ads, so be on time!
Tickets are set at $12, plus fees – clue her 12th album, which consists of 12 songs. You can already grab yours at amctheatres.com or at releasepartyofashowgirl.com.
Don’t forget – this one’s a party. You’re allowed to sing and dance during the show, as long as you’re not blocking aisles.
The Official Release Party of a Showgirl comes after the massive success of The Eras Tour (2023), which became the highest grossing concert film of all time: $181 million just in North America. And it didn’t even run every day of the week.
