The Pomegranate Arts and Crafts Festival is a free, beloved annual event that brightens the Clark County Fairgrounds in Logandale, Nevada. As the calendar turns to early November, this gem of an event is back. This year, it takes place on November 8-9, 2025. It’s a true celebration of the region’s fruitful pomegranate harvest and the vibrant local art scene, hosted by the dedicated Moapa Valley Art Guild.
What happens at the Pomegranate Arts Festival?
This festival is far more than just a fair; it’s a great showcase for regional talent. Artists and crafters from the Moapa Valley and beyond gather to exhibit and sell their unique, hand-made creations. With many one-of-a-kind items, it’s widely considered the perfect spot for gift-shopping, especially for those getting an early start on the Christmas rush. And we all know we’ll regret not doing that in about a month or so!
Keeping the atmosphere lively throughout the two-day event is a continuous stream of free, locally supplied entertainment. Singers, dancers, fiddlers, and orchestras take to the stage, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. Beyond the fun, the festival serves a critical purpose – it’s a key fundraiser for the Moapa Valley Art Guild’s Scholarship Fund.
Star of the show: the pomegranate

Of course, the star of the show is the humble pomegranate. This fruit thrives in the Moapa Valley‘s unique desert climate despite not being native to the area. Back in the day, Ancestral Puebloan cultures built multi-story villages and constructed irrigation channels to farm the region. Mormon settlers of the early 20th Century discovered that fruits such as figs, apricots, grapes, and pomegranates thrived in the desert climate – so, here we are!
Visitors can find pomegranates galore, from the ripe fruit itself, to juices or tempting jars of red jelly.
With a history spanning over 20 years, this old-fashioned country fair has become an important tradition, offering a slice of southeastern Nevada culture. Add it to your November to-do list!
