There was a private party on New Year’s Eve as the Fontainebleau debuted their exclusive member’s only lounge, The Poodle Room.
Taking inspiration from the original Poodle Room where stars frequented back in the 60s, this lounge will be on the top of the resort, which now stands as the tallest on the Strip.
The member’s only lifestyle and social club is on the 67th floor of the Resort, offering the highest lounge vantage point in the city. Sip on elegant cocktails in a lounge designed by award winning Rockwell Group, who also have the Cosmopolitan and Omnia under their belts among many other international lounges, clubs and restaurants.
The Poodle Room in Miami was opened by the original owners, Bernice and Ben Novak, and was frequented by stars like Frank Sinatra and others in the Brat Pack. Because of the crooners influence, there’s plenty of rare photos and memorabilia that lines the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The new and improved Poodle Room will take on that extravagence and opulence of the original while still being extra, just like the Vegas crowd likes.
The lounge is one of 36 new restaurants that have opened at the new resort. So far, details on the Poodle Room are pretty under wraps until its official opening, but sign ups are open for those looking to be members.
