1. 11th Street Records
It has a vast array of collectibles on display, first edition records, and a bunch of well-maintained used records. 11th Street Records has all the Vegas music scenery you’ll love. Expect to be wowed by the orderly arrangement of vinyl discount boxes in addition to a small CD collection for those who aren’t into vinyl records. Loads of $1 too, if you’re looking for a budget find.

2. Zia Records Exchange
Zia Record Exchange is one of the city’s best-known independent vinyl shops. The institution has so much more than just an amazing vinyl collection. You can also find great movies, video games, books, collectible toys, and more. You’ll even find more modern items, such as Taylor Swift or Eminem (modern if you’re a millennial, that is). Nowadays, it has many locations, so you can find the closest one to you and check it out.

3. Record City
Record City is one of the oldest record shops in Vegas, having been in business for over 20 years. They’ve probably been in business for so long because of their incredibly fair prizes. You’ll find an extensive classic rock collection plus DVDs, CDs, and more. Everything is categorized by genre in separate bins, so you won’t waste time wondering around…unless that’s exactly what you want, which is also very doable.

4. Wax Trax Records
Wax Trax Records’ owner Rich Rosen is an icon of the vinyl scene in Vegas. Their already fantastic collection has only become more impressive over the years. They have less affordable options, as this isn’t really the concept of the store. There are rare records, and other items like books, CDs, vintage stereo equipment, and more. This is the perfect stop if you’re looking for a whole adventure, not a quick stop.

5. Primitive Recordings
This spot is a death metal lover’s dream! They have a great selection of underground death and black metal, as well as cool vintage toys. You’ll also find a great selection of band shirts, wall flags, patches, CDs, collectibles, and more. It’s truly a unique – and local – spot.
