Ready for some family-friendly summer fun? July is National Parks and Recreation Month, so there’s a ton of great events across Vegas and beyond. Moreover, all month long, community centers, active adult centers, cultural centers, and pools are hosting gift basket raffles. Just stop by your local neighborhood facility to put your name in the hat.

- Where: Las Vegas Civic Center Gallery (525 S. Main St., Building A)

- Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, July 15
- Where: Lieburn Active Adult Center (6230 Garwood Ave.)
- When: 11:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Who: Ages 50+
- Cost: $3
- Run and Inflatable Fun on Saturday, July 18
- Where: Pavilion Center Pool (101 S. Pavilion Center Drive)
- When: Arrive at 7:30 AM, as race begins at 8:00 AM
- Who: Ages 7 and up (swimmers must be able to pass a 25-yard swim test)

- DLUX Puppets’ Wonderland on Saturday, July 18
- Where: Charleston Heights Arts Center (800 Brush St.)
- When: 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM shows
