Las Vegas is pulling out all the stops for America’s 250th birthday this summer – the city will transform into a weekly spectacle. In honor of the nation’s milestone, the Entertainment Capital of the World is hosting an 8-week celebration, culminating in what’s officially billed as the largest 4th of July fireworks display in the United States. Here’s this month’s schedule:
- July 4: Extra-large nine-rooftop synchronized spectacular at Aria, Caesars Palace, Fontainebleau, MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, Resorts World, The STRAT, The Venetian, and Treasure Island
- July 11: MGM Grand, Aria, and Planet Hollywood
- July 18: Resorts World, Fontainebleau, and The STRAT
- July 25: Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, and The Venetian
Besides the Full Strip Spectacular, there are so many other fantastic shows around Sin City and the suburbs. For example, Station Casinos is celebrating its 50th Anniversary alongside America’s 250th! They are launching synchronized fireworks from 6 of their properties, all at 9 PM. If you need a sweet escape from the July heat, the Museum of Ice Cream opens its largest location in Las Vegas on July 3, inside Zone 2 of AREA15. The 30,000 sq ft immersive experience features 14 interactive installations and an all-you-can-eat ice cream buffet called The Golden Scoop with over 20 flavors.
Exodus Festival is an all-access pass experience that transforms the Strip into a sprawling EDM event. Instead of taking place at a single location, the 4th of July weekend edition allows attendees to use a single wristband for VIP express entry to premium pool parties and nightclubs. You can catch sets from world-renowned DJs spinning EDM, house, and hip-hop without paying individual cover charges.
Close Company, the speakeasy inside the Via Via Food Hall at The Venetian Resort, has been temporarily transformed into “Saved by the ’90s.” This is a limited-time pop-up running through August. Expect inflatable furniture, CD walls, Furbys and neon, plus a fun menu of brightly colored 90s cocktails like the Appletini, Sex on the Beach and Blue Lagoon.
This July, 702 Market is launching a new indoor Sunday market at the historic Western Casino, with the first edition scheduled for July 12. The pop-up will feature curated retail vendors, local artists, food, and entertainment – entry is free.
