GYU+, famous for their Japanese steak & egg sandos, are expanding! The beloved Chinatown shop just opened a second location, so you can now also get your fix at on West Sunset Road, in Southwest Las Vegas.
GYU+ story
Born from a passion for travel and Japanese culture, founders Freddie Paloma and Luis De Santos launched GYU+ during the height of the pandemic. Yep, that’s timing! Their aim? To bring authentic street food to Las Vegas. Starting as delivery-only, the concept went viral on social media, rapidly outgrowing its initial space. By October 2024, GYU+ established its first permanent location in Chinatown, which now also features the GYU+ Social Lounge – an intimate, speakeasy-style experience paired with their signature dishes.
What’s on the menu at the new location

The main attractions remain the same. Their steak sandos, with 1/2 lb. of beef filet, onion jam, secret sauce, and shokupan bread. And, their egg sandos, with diced jidori eggs, mayonnaise, secret sauce and shokupan bread. The latter is only $11,99 – affordable, and delicious.
They also have fried rice, a shrimp sando, or even a Japanese Wagyu sando with truffle chips and desert combo – if you’re feeling extra fancy – and more.
Besides signature sandos and rice boxes, the menu at the new location also features healthy bowls. See you there!
