In the United States, coffee has transformed from a daily necessity into a cultural phenomenon. It’s a passion and a hobby, which is why new coffee shops in Las Vegas often draw long lines. Customers eagerly wait for everything from Americanos and lattes to affogatos and trendy matcha.
Analyzing the latest behaviors of these coffee lovers, Yelp has just published its ‘Top 100 Coffee Shops, According to Reviewers,’ revealing a Vegas establishment as the number one-ranked coffee shop in the nation.
Yaw Farm Coffee Roaster is the best coffee shop in the U.S.
This beloved off-Strip coffee shop has 96% 5-star ratings, making it the most beloved coffee shop in the U.S. It specializes in coffee from small and micro-lot farms, and they serve it as slow pour-overs. This is also what inspired its name – ‘yaw‘ is a term meaning to twist on a vertical axis, a similar motion to preparing a pour-over, according to the owners. Yelp mentions that others popular orders include the ‘Yavette’, a latte served hot or iced, with house-made flavored syrups and oat milk.
Yelpers also gave the the team high marks for being “welcoming, friendly, and patient”, adding to this shop’s charm. Do keep in mind that this isn’t a hangout spot, though – it’s a to-go coffee shop.
Other Vegas shout-outs include Dig it Coffee at number 68, and Convo Coffee House at number 46.
How did Yaw Farm Coffee Roaster rank #1

To find America’s best coffee shops in 2025, data from Yelp reviews was analyzed. The list focused on businesses in the “Coffee & Tea” category, which were then ranked based on factors including the total number of reviews and their average ratings. To ensure broad geographic representation, inclusion was limited to a maximum of five businesses from any single metro area. It was also verified that every business on the list held a passing health score. You can see the full list here.
Coffee trends across the U.S.
According to Yelp, in March, searches for matcha were up 180% over the previous year. That’s mostly thanks to Gen Z. banana-flavored coffee was also very popular this year, and so was the einspanner, a Viennese coffee with an espresso base and a layer of sweetened cream.
So what’s next? Who knows – but here’s what Yelp can already spot. Shops are adding hojicha to their menus, a roasted version of matcha with a toasty, nutty flavor that has the same antioxidants but a lower caffeine content. Also on the rise: cloud-top coffee, mushroom coffee, and banana collagen add-ons.
