Remember the magic of summer camp? Now, imagine it spiked with rum, and fueled by ’80s nostalgia. Welcome to Camp Palms – a limited-time, 21-and-over pop-up speakeasy at the Palms Casino Resort where “booze, s’mores, and bad decisions” are officially on the itinerary.
Camp Palms is where we go back in time
Running through July 31st, this experience trades Vegas glitz for glowing campfires and pure cinematic absurdity. Think Wet Hot American Summer meets interactive theater. And no, adulting is not allowed.
Located just across from Scotch 80 Prime, Camp Palms is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 PM until late, with no cover charge. Expect campfire sing-alongs (no talent needed), and a killer 70s and 80s soundtrack.
Once inside, you’re greeted by a cast of characters ready to pull you into the chaos. You might find yourself taking the camp pledge with Director Larry in his green short-shorts. Make sure you avoid Nurse Candy’s dubious medical advice….and try to earn a “Raccoon Communication Merit Badge” from an camp ranger.
What’s on the menu?
The menu offers high-end but lowbrow takes on childhood classics. Sip on adult-friendly Capri-Sun pouches spiked with rum, or try the Red, White and Boom – a glass of Prosecco garnished with a retro Bomb Pop. Pair your drinks with a Wagyu hot dog covered in bison chili, or dig into chicken tinga served straight out of a Cool Ranch Doritos bag. There are sweet treats, too!
Don’t miss the ultimate excuse to laugh loudly and dance badly. Growing up might be mandatory, but not this July.
