9 Fantastic Things To Do In Vegas This August 

It’s August which means it’s about time we make the most of the last months of summer in the city.

Luckily there are plenty of ways to enjoy the summer fun in Vegas! From delicious food to the most decadent pools parties, here are 9 fabulous things to do in Las Vegas this August. Since Las Vegas is currently hot hot hot, we’ve put together a list of awesome things to get up to this August while considering the summer weather. 

TIP: Since it is very hot in the city, we recommend keeping hydrated and wear your sunscreen. Also though it is hot, there is A/C in most places, so be sure to bring a sweater when you go see a show or spend much time indoors. 

1.Take a dip at Drai’s

Vegas is known for its fabulous pool, and Drai’s is a must. This multi-level rooftop oasis includes two full-service bars and more than 75 luxurious bottle service tables with astonishing city views! In the Cromwell Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Drai’s is the perfect place for daytime partying! You will also see some of the world’s most celebrated DJs and performers, like Gucci Mane, performing on August 7 and 8!

2.Rediscover Vegas with this Exploration Game

This exploration game will show you a different side of Vegas! With this game, you will solve puzzles to discover cool spots in the city and their unique stories. In the game, you play an aspiring musician as you make your way through the entertainment capital that is Vegas, baby!  As you pass through MGM Grand, Bellagio Fountains, and Caesars Palace, you realize that the city has lost the true magic of entertainment. 3.Catch a show at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club

This legendary comedian and actor, best known for his role on Everybody Loves Raymond has a comedy club where the best comedians do their thing. Brad Garrett will host some shows this August with headliners like Erik Griffin and Michael Loftus.  The comedy club is in The  MGM Grand has been open since 2012 but is inspired in 1920s New York.

4.Watch Mystère by Cirque du Soleil

Mystère by Cirque du Soleil is a showstopper! The intricate costumes and world-class performers make this a fantastic show you won’t want to miss! Popular Vegas shows tend to sell out quickly, so buy your tickets as soon as you can.

5.Visit Nevada State Museum

Vegas and Museums may not sound like the most logical pair. However, Sin City has a lot more than just… sin. The Nevada Museum is a fantastic option to escape the August sun and seek refuge in the state’s spectacular history! (Plus, their great A/C) The Nevada State Museum at Springs Preserve has an outstanding permanent exhibit about the history of Nevada dating back millions of years ago! You’ll learn how geology shaped the Great Basin and about the plant and animals that inhabit the state. You’ll also see Nevada’s state fossil, the ichthyosaur, hear the story of Native Americans, pioneers, miners, railroaders, ranchers, and entrepreneurs!

6.Enjoy a fabulous Bottemless Drag Brunch
