Food lovers, rejoice! One of West Coast’s largest and most highly anticipated food-centric events is back. Celebrating its 15th outing in Las Vegas this year, the Great American Foodie Fest will transform Desert Breeze Park into a culinary wonderland. It takes place between May 8 – 10.
Regularly ranked among the ‘Top 10 Food Festivals in America’ and a multi-time winner of the ‘Best of Las Vegas award,’ this festival is the ultimate playground for anyone looking to indulge in mouth-watering creations.
What’s on the menu?

What sets the Great American Foodie Fest apart is its dedication to bringing in unique, “out-of-market” food trucks from all over the country. Of course, you’ll also find some local Vegas favorites. With over 100 vendors setting up shop – several of which have been featured on the Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel – your taste buds are in for a treat.
Expect everything from comforting classics like smash burgers, birria tacos, and hot bowls of pho to over-the-top culinary mashups. Vendors this year include Twisted Sourdough Pizza, The Flaming Cluck, Empanada Factory, Hawaiian Honey Comb, Mr. Funnel Cake, and many more.
Whether you’re craving Korean hot dogs, fresh kabobs, lumpia buckets, pasta cones, or decadent desserts served inside hollowed-out honeycombs, you’re guaranteed to find something you love.
How it works (The Tasting Experience)

Food isn’t bought directly with cash at the trucks; instead, the festival uses a digital “Tasting Experience Ticket” system. You can load tickets onto your smartphone’s mobile wallet, or purchase them with cash at the gates (ATMs are available on-site). You hand a ticket to the vendor, and they hand you a tasting portion (typically 3 to 5 ounces), allowing you to try as many different foods as possible.
