In celebration of the United States’ 250th birthday, Sphere is launching a unique visual experience on the Exosphere. The largest LED screen on the planet will pay tribute to America’s rich history of creativity, technological breakthroughs, and innovation.
The highlight of the event is Nation of Wonder, an exclusive 2-minute audiovisual presentation that showcases American inventiveness. The display journeys through milestones like the telegraph, electricity, the dawn of cinema, and the Apollo moon landing, ultimately leading up to Sphere itself as a contemporary beacon of U.S. innovation.
You can catch the Nation of Wonder presentation during the following times:
- July 1 – 3: At the top of every hour from 7 PM to midnight.
- July 4: At the top and bottom of every hour from 7 PM to midnight.
The wizard says hi!
Adding to the occasion, the Wizard from The Wizard of Oz will make his inaugural appearance on the Exosphere. Breaking out from the venue’s interior immersive experience, he will project onto the massive exterior to share a special birthday message with the country.
