Summer passed by in the blink of an eye, and here we are…ready to discover some pumpkin patches, get into that cozy feeling, excited to be outside during the day, and ready for all the early fall festivals. Without further ado…here are our top choices for things to do this September in Vegas.
1. The Wizard of Oz @ Sphere

Wizard of Oz fans have been waiting for this whimsical show since its first been announced, almost 6 months ago! The classic 1939 film is getting a full-on immersive makeover for Sphere, which will use its well known cutting-edge technology to enhance it. Of course, you can expect this project to stay true to the tale’s magic. Anyone who’s already seen any show at Sphere, knows this will be one for the books.
2. iHeartRadio Music Festival

One of the most awaited festivals of the year takes place this September in Vegas, on 19 – 20, at T-Mobile Arena. This year, we welcome Bryan Adams, Diplo, Ed Sheeran, Justice, Maroon 5, The Offspring, and more. 3. The first year-round haunted house

AREA15, one of our favorite entertainment spots, just went through an extension this August and brough even more fun spots. One of them is Universal Horror Unleashed, with a “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” theme. We do warn you – it’s not for the faint of heart! But if you’re the kind that dreams of Halloween all year along and can’t wait for spooky times…this may be your happy place.
4. Dive into Ice Age history this September in Vegas

First announced in 2017 and opened in early 2024, this 315-acre park transports you back to prehistoric times. Long before Vegas became a city of neon and spectacle, the land looked very different; and Ice Age Fossils State Park offers a rare chance to glimpse that ancient past, just 20 minutes from the Strip. Moreover, many fossils continue to be found today. Just in 2024, a couple of visitors spotted something that turned out to be a partial Columbian mammoth tooth.
5. Check out this bar that doesn’t allow phones

The Pinky Ring isn’t your typical cocktail spot. It was built by a performer with the sole purpose of entertaining. Expect over-the-top shows and the occasional surprise appearance from Bruno Mars himself, making for an unforgettable night. Just don’t plan on taking selfies or recording videos…phones are completely off-limits here, keeping the focus on genuine connection. The lounge has even landed a spot on the 2025 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards shortlist in the club/night venue category.

The Golden Steer might just be the perfect example of the phrase “if walls could talk.” As the oldest continuously operating steakhouse in Las Vegas, this strip mall gem has welcomed everyone from Hollywood icons to residency headliners, and the legendary Rat Pack. Yet among all the big names, one stands above the rest: Elvis Presley. The King never missed a chance to dine here during his Vegas visits, and while the steaks are the star of the menu, he actually wanted an off-menu item: a burger.
